From  The 8th to The 12th July 2012, the jazz Legends such as Ibrahim Maalouf, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dr. John, Jimi Brown experience  will vibrate the  capital of the  French Riviera.

On two stages (Théâtre de Verdure and Place Massena), it is more than 30 groups who are expected to offer five unforgettable nights to the public who will come to even more than last season.

A Jazz Festival but not only, as great artists from diverse musical styles are also expected to do the show: Selah Sue, Texas, Thomas Dutronc or Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra.

Saturday 21th April do not miss the arrival of the 21st edition of the Tour Auto Optic 2000 in Nice.
After leaving Paris on April 16th and four steps from north to south of France (Beaune, Aix-les-Bains, Clermond-Ferrand, Nîmes), it’s on the legendary Promenade des Anglais and under the sun of Nice that more of 220 exceptional and vintage cars will be arriving.

A village will be located on the Albert 1er Gardens to host competitors from more than twenty nations.

During this manifestation, spectators can admire, among others, five Ferrari 250 GTO, a 1800 Alpine A110, a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1963 AC Cobra, two Mercedes 300 SL or a Jaguar Type E.

To enjoy this event, appointment on the Albert 1er Gardens on the Pomenade des Anglais, 5 minutes walking distance from the Hotel Massena Nice.

Many activities will be proposed for adults and children.

Children ages from 6 to 13 years old would be able, for example, to drive a mini-Ferrari on a provisional track.

Meeting us  on the 14th of july and one the  5th ,11th , 15th  and on the 25th of August 2012 from 09.30pm until 11.30pm.

For the occasion the Promenade des Anglais becomes a huge Dancefloor with many free gigs to dance, listen and relax.

Departure from “Sisteron” in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence at 12:00 pm, this step will be the longest of the week for riders with 220 km to  reach Nice.
The last 5 kilometers of a straight line on the famous Promenade des Anglais will offer you, for sure,  a wonderful sporting show. (5 minutes walk from the Hotel Massena Nice ****).

The next day, Sunday 11th March riders will depart for an individual race against-time from Nice to the Eze Col overlooking the Riviera.

On arrival we will know the winner of the Paris-Nice race 2012.

Time of a weekend come to encourage teams and attend the “Sunny race” which will, once again very well named

His Majesty the King of Sports will appear on the Place Massena with his  beautiful wife the Queen “gymnast”.

As every year and during the 15 days of festivity, all the Hotel Massena**** staff is playing the game and is dressing-up for this special occasion!

The festivities start from 8:30 pm with a show of aerial acrobatics. At 8:55 p.m, 1000 Nice schoolchildren will take place to sing, play percussion and announce the beginning of the Nice Carnival 2012!
It is at 9:15 pm that the Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, will declare officially open the 2012 Nice Carnival and the royal couple will make its debut.
The Nice Carnival is a huge festival, offering an amazing show for all ages.
